The English language and the English class

Hi classmates and teacher.

The English subject at university seemed to me so good. I don’t like so much English, but this subject seemed to me one of the best that I have had in my life. Usually in my experience the English subjects have not been so good; in the school the teacher write the formula of different times in English and we have to learn by heart and only repeat her words. Now, in the English subject at university, the class is very participative, dynamic and useful. In addition, the blog experience it’s so interesting. In my opinion the blogging experience it’s extremely necessary for the development of the writing skills, for learn to express the opinions and ideas in English, learn to use the technologies device and interact with the schoolmates.

When I make English works or talk in English in class, I must to be improved so much, because I don’t know many words in English or I don’t know the different English times. Many English words I used how in Spanish and I put or remove some short word in the end. For example: Interesante – Interesting, elefante – elefant, etc.

Outside the English class I use English scantly. In general, I hear song in Spanish and I see movies with subtitles and I don’t put attention in the English words. And sometimes I intent to read books or articles in English, but I don’t understand so much. I am aware that I will must to practice, since next year, when I will not have the subject English never more; I promised that I will practice with friends and I intent to understand the English movies and songs, without the help of translates or subtitles.

An evaluation of this year

Hello friends

In this post I will talk to you about this year; the things that happened to my, the bad situations, the important news, and so many things. And in the end I will intent to respond the question ¿Have I had a good year?

This year I was learn so much, the second year of my career and the beginning of my militancy was allow me develop my knowledge. In addition, this year, in May, I was found a very especial woman, my actual girlfriend. Despite all of this, I was suffer the consequences of bad situations. One of this situations was a sick of my mother, I don’t want to tell the problem that she suffer, but the important is that she is actually be god.

My principles achievements of this year was recorder a CD with my band (In this moment we are working in the recordings in order to the CD will sound very well), and have ended the first part of the “Capital” by Karl Marx, this thing it’s so nerd, but it’s make me happy.

The things that I didn’t do, but I will pretend to do, are will go to the “Carretera Austral”, in the extreme sour of Chile. The other thing that I will pretend to do it’s learn English very well, the problem it’s that this language don’t like me, but I will make intense efforts, ever in the limits of the possible.

The important news that was happened this year is the FECH elections. In this elections the list C, make up for the “FeL” (my organization) and the “Une”, principally, was wined the elections. With this victory the Libertarian communism (anarchist for few) returns to the FECH after 70 years by the hand of Melissa Sepulveda.        

 

After to considerer all of things of this year I suppose that I have had a good years, I’m happy for this

Les Miserables is book written by Victor Hugo (1802-1885) in 1862, Victor Hugo was a French poet, novelist, politic and dramatist of the romantic movement, ever worried about the social, etic and political problems of his time.

This book is about the french society of the middle of twenty nine century; about the contradictions in this age, the revolutions that its generated, the destiny, the love for the other and the loneliness of a convict. Especificly the book it's about the problems never solved for the french revolution, the promise that never comes.

The book begin with the history of a convict, Jean Valjean, that still a peace of bread because his cousin have hungry. After nineteen years the man was free, but desperateness for the social discrimination the man still again a candelabrum to a bishop. The bishop forgive to the convict, and this start a life dedicated to good. In this way the man get a clothes industry, but the good time will be interrupted because a old enemy of the past come back to the life of Jean Valjean, and the revolutionary spirit of the age will be appear.

In 2012 Tom Hopper realized a musical movie about the book, this movie reach to the cinema and its very good, at same time the movie utilize the music by Claude-Michel Schonberg of the musical theater "Les Miserables" (1980). In this muscial theater, Claude was make him contribution with him songs. This song are a very important part of the history today, for example, the letters of the principle of the post are of Claude.

How green are you?

The historic times in that our stay living impress me every day. The worlds, the environment that allow us live and develop us have been destroyed for the same practice and process that the environment make possible. It’s time to reflex the ecologic problem far away the simple advice of recycling. Some social force must to have charge about the ecologic problem for the future of all of the humanity.

I think that the theory and practice can’t be separated. Ever been exists persons that alert us about the ecologic problem. But only when this problem start to threaten our existence and the consequences of the global heating begin to change our life, the people and the public opinion commence to talk about the ecologic problem. It’s in this context where I live and I think; the world will comes to the hell. The people will learn about environmentally friendly practices only when the problem knocks their door, this practices don’t learn in the school or home exclusively, this learn in community resolving concrete problems.  The environmentally friendly practices are more that the simple recycling (I recycling, it’s not exclusive the things that I write with the recycling), or ride bike (I ride bike too). We must to organized, identify the principal material originator of the ecologic problem and fight against it, for the future of our kids.

I think that we must join to eco-organizations and issue and practice revolutionary eco-practices. In that way many friends are today, they construct a social political organization of communism libertarian ecologist; its name is “Germina”. I let you the page and image. I think that I will take part of this organization for eliminate the ecologic problem since a classist perspective. The take care of the environment it’s against of the capitalist profit. The ecologic alternative it’s revolutionary and more necessary than never. How green are me? Green, red and black ...

Pussy Riots

Well, I don't occur anything logic to say, for this reason I will talk about a irrelevant phenomenon that it makes me laugh, but in the same time it makes me admiration: The Pussy Riots and her performance on the Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

The Pussy Riots a Russian feminist punk rock protest group based in Moscow. Founded in August 2011, it has a variable membership of approximately 11 young women. They turned famous when in 2012 five members of the group staged a performance on the soleas of Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The protest it’s against the actual president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the Orthodox Church that he defended, and against the discrimination and persecution of the sexual minorities by the Putin “dictatorship”.

Inside the cathedral the Pussy Riots film a music video entitled "Punk Prayer - Mother of God, Chase Putin Away", I let you the link of the video in the end of this post. During the film the church security officials throw out to the girls. In March of the same year, the Russian police arrested three girls of the Pussy Riots: Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich. On August 17 the three members were convicted of “hooliganism motivated by religious hatred” and on October were separated and sent to prison.

Right to buy: 10,000 homes sold since April 2012

Part of the money of the sells houses has been accumulated by the councils, which are built with these money new homes. And in this way, the councils are helping more and more hardworking people to buy somewhere to live and get on in life, said Cameron.

This increased in the discount cap respond to the fallen right-to-buy since 1998-99 to 2008-09 in a 26%. Kris Hopkins, the housing minister, said:

"For years the right to buy was allowed to wither on the vine, with ever-decreasing discounts leaving the prospect of home ownership out of reach for far too many social tenants. But our reinvigorated scheme has changed that (…)”

The Coca-Cola

I like so much the Coca-Cola, but always the people of left-wing has fought against it. ¿It’s a contradiction my act of drink Coca-Cola with my critical thinking? I propose discover this in this post.

The merchandise per se, the beverage coke, don´t has any bad. Only would be damage the health of the persons, but I don´t care its effect in this post, I don´t care the use of the coke. I want to discover who produce and trade it, for this way I think that consume coke maybe will be contradictory with the left-wing.

The Coca-Cola it's manufactured by The Coca-Cola Company, an American multinational with venue in Atlanta. It’s considered one of the most bigger companies of United States. Its stock is listed on the NYSE and is part of DJIA, S&P 500 Index, the Russell 1000 Index and the Russell 1000 Growth Stock Index. It’s a big capitalist company, with exploitation of the work, capital circulation, speculation in the stock market, etc. The typical enemy characterized for the classical left-wing.

If we look well, we can see that the merchandise of the Coca-Cola Company needs to be sold to recover and increase in size the capital-money of the company. Looking this, the negation of consume it would be affect capital accumulation of the company, but my consumption can be affect the Company? I think that no; I can be convincing the rest of people? …

But I have another question more interesting. Sometime the working class has opposed to consume? The really fight it´s against the project of society of the capitalist class; It’s a fight for the control of production media and the power.

This it’s an interesting reflection, But yet I don’t have answer for my question, consume Coca-Cola is a contradiction for a persons of left-wing?

A country I'd like to visit

I would like to visit many countries and regions of the world, the problem is that some regions are between two countries; because of chose one country is very difficult. The borders of the countries are a political limit that no ever responds to natural borders. Considering this, I intent choose a country: Italy.

I would like to visit Italy because my family (4 generations behind of me) was living in Italia. I would like know my roots, never ignoring the Latin American part that constitutes me. In addition, I want to know the culture, the food, the landscapes and the people of a part of Europe, Italy. Ever with the objective of will know more places.

I don´t know much about Italy, I only know part of its history. For this reason I'd like to visit its country, in order to know about this.

In Italy I would like to visit the village of my ancestors, but I don't know where it is. Later, I'd like to visit the Sistine chapel, the Colosseum, the Alpine mountains, Milan, Naples, Florentine, and many villages between of the cities. 

I don't know if I would like study in Italy, I don't know anything about its education and its university. In the future I examine this possibility. For the moment, I would like to have a bakery in some city of Italy, or work, for obtain the money, in an industry of cars. I think...

My ideal job

My ideal job would be to work with labor unions and social organizations, using my knowledge about Sociology and other subjects for help them in their fights.

I think the skills I would need for this job are: appetite to change the present state of the things, knowledge about labour rights and in analysis of political situations, patience and tolerance against the failure, have a good use of the words that allow to move multitudes and persuade persons, and believe in the socialism.

I don't think if I would be good in this job, but I will be trying, with all of my energies. I have knowledge about politics and sociology and I'm learning so much, for this reason, in the future I will have so much knowledge to share. And I'm patience and I believe in socialism by the fights of the popular organizations. But the problem is that I'm so shy and I can't speak so well in front of many people that I don't know. For this reason this job is a challenge for me, I must surpass it.

This job would be very difficult, in addition to the things that I've already written, because in this way I will not get much money. I don't know what I will do ...

The first semester this year

During the first semester I learned so much. I said this for two things. Frist, my career was surprise me with new contents and knowledge. Second, I was begun to be active in the FeL.

I study sociology, since the first moment that I begin to study that, in 2012; I fall in love with the career. But the first semester of this year my career surprises me so much with two courses, particularly: “Elements for the coyunture analysis” and “Sociological theory I”. In this I learn so mucho about Marx and important elements for the political analysis, elements that I use for the political practice in FeL.

The Front of libertarian students (FeL) it’s a social political organization that expect to install the libertarian communism in Chile. In march of this year I ingress to this organization, and this moment I learn so much. My colleagues are very interesting and intelligent and the daily political activities convert the FeL in an important tool for the political development of my person.

During the first semester I wasn´t make sport or other activities, the cold and the miss of time don´t afford me. I only dedicated to read in my free times. In addition, with my family and friend was get close so much in the last months. In conclusion, my life was being so good during the first semester.
